References with regard to word count

Hi guys,

I am told that references in Chapters 1-6 are not included in the word count.

Does this mean the whole quote of the reference cited in the chapter? Or does it just mean the cititaion is not included in the word count, ie the bit in brackets?

    Hi Laura,

    I spoke to Alan about this the other day and he told me that all references DO count towards the word count.
